Yara jogs up beside Kai, holding an umbrella over both of them, grinning despite the grim scene.

Yara: “You always say that right before you prove everyone wrong. Let's go, detective.”

Kai crouches by a shattered wristwatch on the floor, then traces muddy footprints leading toward the window.

Yara: “Stopped at 9:47. But the victim's shoes are clean. Someone else tracked this mud in.”

Yara pulls back a curtain to reveal a thin wire looped from the window latch to a hook behind a bookshelf.

Yara: “Kai, look! A wire, rigged to snap the latch shut after someone left!”

Kai kneels by the drainpipe below the study window, matching the mud on his glove to the tracks inside.

Yara: “He climbed down here after locking the room from outside. The 'suicide' was staged the whole time.”

Police officers lead the shocked suspect away in handcuffs while Yara claps Kai on the shoulder.

Yara: “Another case cracked! You really are something else, Kai.”

Kai spots a small black symbol scratched into a statue's base, half-hidden by dripping ivy, and freezes.

Yara: “This wasn't here before... someone's been watching us the whole time.”

Yara leans in close to the symbol, her playful smile fading into quiet unease as rain patters on.

Yara: “Kai... if this is just the beginning, what exactly did we just walk into?”
