Pip jabs a finger toward the street below, shaking his head; Layla throws her hands up and turns her back on him, pacing away in frustration
Scene 3
The rooftop, argument reaching its peak
Layla spins back and points firmly at her own chest, then at Pip; Pip throws his hands up in disbelief and steps back, looking hurt
Scene 4
A sudden rumble shakes the city street below, dark storm clouds swirling over the square
A massive shadow creature bursts up from the plaza fountain, sending citizens running; Pip and Layla freeze, eyes wide, staring at each other in alarm
Scene 5
The city square, chaos spreading as the creature grows
Pip and Layla exchange a quick determined nod, then leap off the rooftop together toward the plaza, capes streaming side by side
Scene 6
The heart of the plaza, the shadow creature towering over the fountain
Layla creates a glowing shield while Pip channels a beam through it, both moving in perfect synced rhythm as the creature shrinks and dissolves into sparkles
Scene 7
The plaza afterward, storm clouds parting to reveal warm sunlight
Pip offers his hand to Layla; she claps it in a firm handshake, both smiling as citizens cheer and gather around them
